California State Parks, Eureka, CA: Provided geotechnical assessment of and solution for chronic bank erosion site along the Mattole River (through Redwood Community Action Agency, 19##); analyzed problem areas of Humboldt and Del Norte County park roads in need of resurfacing (2002).

City of Arcata, CA: Alquist-Priolo Special Studies Zones reviewing geologist (1985, 2001) and fault-investigation consultant for multi-million dollar Arcata Sports Complex (1989, 1990).

Arcata Fire Protection District, Arcata, CA: hazardous waste investigation (workplan and initial subsurface investigation), Arcata fire station (1988, 1989); follow-up workplan for monitoring and secondary subsurface investigation (1990).

City of Brookings, Oregon: investigation of potential leachfield areas, potable water supplies, roadline materials, and foundation soils, Jack Creek Public Golf Course (through developer; 1992); investigation of at-risk cutbank (19##).

City of Eureka, CA: investigation of Martin Slough sewer line bedding soils (through project engineer; 1989); investigation of road fill failure, ## Street (through ##, 19##).

City of Fortuna, CA: investigation of foundation soils for repair of the Steward Street reservoir (through project engineer, 1992, ##); geotechnical feasibility investigation of three proposed sites for a 100,000-gallon water tank in the Palmer Creek drainage (through project engineer, 1988-1992) (88-046, 92-089).

City of Rio Dell, CA: groundwater potential evaluation (1986), investigation of earthquake-damaged retained section of Monument Road (1992), and earthquake damage evaluation of three city water tank sites (1992) (all through project engineer, Winzler & Kelly, Eureka).

City of Trinidad, CA: feasibility-level investigation of potential failure of Wagner Street trailhead (19##);

College of the Redwoods, Humboldt County, CA: foundation soils engineering investigation for Crescent City campus classroom additions (1989).

Humboldt County, CA: provided foundation materials investigation for 65,000 ft of main water line, a ##-gal and ##-gal water storage tank, and a booster station (through project engineer; 1992); provided preliminary toxics identification for several buried tank sites (1991).

Oregon Department of ##, Salem, OR: provided research-level assessment of proposed ocean setback methodologies, Curry County coast (through ##, 19##).

Oregon Department of Transportation, Salem, OR: provided site-specific geotechnical investigation of right-of-way, Brookings, Oregon (19##).

USFS, Six Rivers District, CA: watershed erosion inventory and rehabilitation prescription work (1980, 1981, 1982, with Michael Huffman). About 200,000 acres reviewed.
