The following photos partially chronicle the construction of  our building on Lower Harbor Road in  Harbor, OR, fondly known as "Tsunami Heights" and "Busch Tower."  Trinidad, CA, designer Clay Johnson fit the two-story 1000 sq ft triangular building onto our tiny lot bordering the Port of Brookings-Harbor.  Winzler & Kelly (now GHD) structural engineer Steven Peacock (Ret.) did the engineering.  Construction began on August 1, 2006, and was completed on August 29, 2007.  The office features an open "designer-concrete" ground floor and a handicap bathroom, a carpeted second story with a second bathroom, shower, mini-kitchen, and stay-over facilities for staff.  We can access the roof for a coffee break or diving pelican treat through pull down stairs hidden in an opening and protected by a fishing boat hatch cover that seals out the weather.
